Built-in code not learnable in Titan URC 2056

I don't have the original remote for a GPX TV/DVD and am trying to create an upgrade. A 991 search found a built-in code that sends signals that don't match up to the button (i.e. the 8 button sends Play/Pause command). The signals from the code (21107) found in Titan 2056 v2 cannot be learned by a Titan 2056 v1. The Titan v2 can learn other signals. Does anyone have some ideas on on how to get protocol info on these signals so I can proceed with a device upgrade?

Assuming that code 21107 is the same as Video/1107 - in 5-digit setup codes the first digit is the device type, and type 2 is Video in the Titan - then the Lookup Tool says that the protocol is NEC1. There is no way that any learning remote should not be able to learn NEC1 signals, so I suggest you try the learning process again.

The NEC1 signal can be hard to learn if you don't know how to properly learn signals, this is because the data portion of the signal is only sent once, whereas most other protocols repeat the whole signal while the button is pressed down. NEC1 sends the data once then sends a string without data while the button is pressed, so if you start the learning process too late, you will miss the data.

I repeated the 991 process and found Video/1107 (again), Video/1351, TV/1144. Today learning worked with all of those codes. Maybe a glitch or other IR interference. It was not likely to be my procedure because the other device modes were being learned at the same session. I tried to learn with the Atlas 1056 and it would not learn either yesterday. My Pixel 2 emits IR, but I already knew that and had it several feet away and lower. Today the Pixel was on the desk 1 foot away. For fun, I tried to learn it's IR but the remote wouldn't pick it up.
The learned signal has a sub device of 255 and Fixed Data 20FF00. Lookup (for Atlas 1056) for 1107 has no sub device and Fixed Data 00FFFF. If I make an NEC1 Device 0; no Sub Device, the Fixed Data is 00FF00. Does any of that matter for the signal being sent.
I do not see a Titan Remote on this list. Is there another place to look?

Tv/dvd combos almost always use a dvd code set, that's why searching tv codes fails. Back when I was answering directv remote questions the two most popular tv/dvd codes were 20695 & 20821.

Video/1107 (again), Video/1351, TV/1144 all use NEC1 dev 0 (ie, fixed data 00 FF FF). Actually, when the first byte is 00, the last byte doesn't matter, so 00 FF 00 would also be valid, as would 00 FF 23, etc).

When an NEC1 signal is listed as having only a device code, with no sub-device code, what that means is, the sub-device is the complement of the device code. So, you could enter it as device 0 and leave the sub-device blank, or you could enter it as device 0 with a sub-device of 255, which would give you 20 FF 00 as the fixed data, but it would make no difference.

Not sure if that made sense or not, but bottom line, your device uses NEC1, device 0, so use that in RM to build your test upgrades to find all the OBCs.
