8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? No
10. Learning remote question? n/a
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? Yes
12. If you have a OARUSB04G (or similar) remote, have you tried simpleset.com? n/a
Picked up this player for $1. No remote. There is very little information via internet and nothing on JP1. Saw somewhere that this may be an Android TV device 4.2.2?

Thanks for all your replies. I have a wireless mini-keyboard and it works. Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried the M8 codes yet. However, it's not a great media player, so it's probably gonna end up in the parts bin.
