Also be aware that some Comcast boxes (assuming they're the same as Rogers) require an IR receiver dongle be plugged in to work with IR.

It would be useful to know the make model of your cable box since all code searches are based on the actual device being controlled, not the model of the remote.

Lastly, you don't need an actual Simple Set remote to look for codes, only a BIN file, one of which is posted here:

Curious, so I upload the file into simpleset, then setup say an Xfinity cable box, then download the bin file again.

But what can I then do with the bin file? That can be uploaded into a Nevo C3 with RMIR?

Yes. You should have gotten about 30 devices from simple set if you open the bin file in RMIR. The you can save each device that uses XMP to an individual file and load each into the Nevo to test.

If you learn all the commands from your Harmony and post the RMIR file with the learns, and we can build an upgrade from that.

Worked like a charm from my Elite.

I have an RMIR file, but not sure how I upload it here? I don't see an attach file anywhere when I post in a thread?

Now I need to see if I can find a battery cover for my Nevo C3. The one I have broke so doesn't stay on without tape. Grrr.

That's because we don't want you to attach it to a thread where no-one will find it, we want you to go to the File Section, then look for the Cable folder and use the Upload button to load it there.
