Hi, Rob. Please save your effort on this.
I was able to modify binky123's ini entry to send a obc 193 and g=118 signal with 30 repeats. It didn't work. I even changed the repeat to 100 times (64h) to no avail. I guess it was something else.

For those who may be interested in taking a look at the signals. Here is a rmir with learned signals from the original remote on the second 1 press and a signal learned from a slingbox with bin which is supposed to be identical to the former one.

A is the signal from the original remote and B is learned from slingbox.

Thank you very much.

I use irscope to capture the original remote when I press and hold # for 3 seconds, led lit up, and I press 1 twice. It seems like irscope captured 2 copies.

If I program that second 1 press, obc 192, to slingbox bin file and capture that signal with irscope. It shows the correct (192.118) with 1 copy.

I changed bink123's protocols.ini entry so when it sees 185 obc, it change to 192, and the repeat set to 02h. Still no luck as to change to mode 2.

I wonder what could be it anyway? Thanks.

I found the solution!!!
The stb actually needs to see # for 3 seconds on mode 1, and a switching signal obc 193, g=118, to enter mode 2. That means I need to create a bin which sends 3 seconds of #, load it to slingbox, select to change mode, then long press #, and immediately change to mode 2 bin, and send a mode 2 confirmation signal obc 193, g=118.

To go back from mode 2 to mode 1, one need # for mode 2 for 3 seconds, and a switching confirmation signal from mode 1, obc 192, g=87.

I will compile the files tomorrow and post here with all the files and protocols.ini entries.

I have uploaded 4 files for switching remote modes for sky perfec tv pt-sh700a with a slingbox. a rmdu for mode 1. a rmdu for mode 2. a slingbox bin for mode 1 and a slingbox bin for mode 2

You need to add this entry to protocols.ini in order to use the rmdu file.
You can just use the bin file directly without adding this entry.

To switch from mode 1 to mode 2, after confirm the change on stb menu, press # on the remote, then upload mode 2 bin to slingbox, and then press 3 digits button. And vice versa.

I wonder if it is possible to find a discrete on signal to tz-hr400p, a Japanese satellite stb. Does such discrete on signal normally exist on stb? Thanks.
