I'm now using the Xsight Touch ARRX18G. To control my Denon receiver, I'm using the device that comes with the remote, Denon/Denon-K Combo, PID 01 C8. It does not have a code for the "TV Audio" or "TV Surround" input. I learned the code and it decodes as Denon-K, Device 4, Sub Device 1, OBC 722, Hex Cmd 7B 4B. However, when I attempt to add that button to the Functions of the Denon Audio device, the OBC and Hex Cmd translate differently. Entering K-OBC 722 produces Hex 4B 40, and entering Hex 7B 4B produces K-OBC 734.

Code:

04494   217   Kaseikyo 30   150   0.0   734   7B 4B
36997   088   Sharp    18   22    4.1   722   4B 40

Neither code appears to work. How should I enter this learned code? Thank you.

It might be easier if we were to see your RMIR files, first the one with the learned signals in it, then the one where you tried to add the codes to the upgrade. (If they're all in the same file, even better).

Try the top one, and change 0.0 to 4.1. Without the column headings, I don't know what all the numbers mean in your example.

If that doesn't work, use my upgrade which already has every possible command.

I apologize for my very delayed response. Other things got in the way.

For some reason, the Denon AVR-X4000 device upgrade doesn't work on this remote with either my Denon X3200 or X4400 receivers.

I've learned several more Denon device input keys (last two columns are OBC then Hex Cmd):
    1 Blu-ray Denon Audio SoftD 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 721 77 4B
    2 GAME Denon Audio SoftE 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 725 75 4B
    3 Media Player Denon Audio SoftF 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 726 79 4B
    4 TV Surround Denon Audio Soft10 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 722 7B 4B
    5 Aux1 Denon Audio Soft11 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 729 76 4B
    6 Aux2 Denon Audio Soft12 45 38278 Denon-K 4 1 730 7A 4B

The RMIR file has been uploaded to http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=25904.
Device 2857 / Denon Audio is the device that was learned from the Denon remote. I tried to incorporate the learned keys into this device. Again, the Hex codes do not translate to the same OBC codes as the learned keys.

The learned device works fine. The learned keys work fine. But they appear to be using different protocols. Should I just stick with what I have and not try to integrate the learned keys into a device?

Device 1400 / Denon X4400W is the non-working device upgrade.

I have tried converting your learned signals into functions in the upgrade, see if they work.

Thanks very much Robman and mdavej. I tried both of your modifications and they both work. I really appreciate your help.

Ha, I guess we were both posting at the same time.

I've been using mdavej's "Denon X3200 X4400.rmdu" modification. I just realized it doesn't have Aux2 input which I need. I learned Aux2 as Denon-K 4.1, OBC 730, Hex 7A 4B, EFC 225, Size 45, Freq. 38278.

Learned UEI Aux2:
Code:
00 D1 04 00 D1 91 20 06 88 03 4F 00 D1 02 76 00 D1 00 D3 B2 13 32 32 32 33 23 32 23 33 33 33 32 32 33 33 23 22 32 23 23 33 32 23 32 20

Decodes:
Code:
1   Denon-K   4   1   730   7A 4B   225      false

The problems is that those learned codes don't match up in "Denon X3200 X4400.rmdu" device, choosing the Kaseikyo type

Any suggestions on how to add the Aux2 key to this device? Thanks.

Line 47 of my upgrade is AUX2 and matches your decode. Just assign it to a button.

That's too weird. Somehow the Denon X3200 X4400 device I'm using is slightly different than the .rmdu. Some of the devices are in a different order and AUX2 is missing. But thanks very much for pointing out the correct function to me mdavej. I appreciate it.
