Hiyas,

If someone happens to have some Soniq TV discrete codes to share that would be most helpful.

I have put some others on git of IRDB to be added hopefully, however only really power on was found that was of use.

I went through 0-255 on NEC protocol with IrScrutinizer to find what I found. Is there much point in swapping to other e.g. NEC2, protocols or will they yield the same results?

This works with Soniq U65VX15A-AU Power On discrete
irscrutinizer Device:Sub:cmd 114:221:255
or IRSEND,nec,0x4ebbff00,32
or
0000 006C 0022 0000 015B 00AD 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 05A0

Cheers.

Thanks for finding that. Regarding your NEC vs NEC2 question, you don't need to try all variants, you just need to use the protocol that is used by your device. In this case, the TV uses NEC1. Your pronto hex just sends one occurrence of the signals with no repeats. Sending NEC2 to a device that uses NEC1 is not a good idea.

As for the info we need here, we really need the JP1 code info, which in this case is NEC1, device 114, sub-device 221, OBC 255. I have added this to our Soniq upgrade file below:
