Superior remotes

I need to replace my URC 7980 as it’s falling apart, during my quest to find a new remote I stumbled on the Chinese superior usb programmable remotes, I believe they may also come under other names, I can’t see any mention of them being capable of doing anything with Macros, anyone got any views or experience with them.
