Extender for URC-7955

Post by Tomanek »

Where can I download the URC-7955 remote extension to upload via the FTDI cable. I can not find anywhere.
The only one I found to upload via bluetooth.

Thanks for any help.

What extender are you looking for? The purpose of the only extender for the URC7955 is to enable uploads via Bluetooth when RMIR is used with the BLED112 Bluetooth dongle. That extender is uploaded via Bluetooth so that users who have the dongle do not need also to have a FTDI cable in order to upload it. If you do not have the BLED112 dongle there is no point in uploading the extender.

Reading between the lines, I think he found the bluetooth "extender" but is looking for a regular extender.

Yes exactly...
If I understand correctly that the bluetooth extender allows ONLY for communication via bluetooth. (nothing more)
Yes ?

I bought a dongle - communication via bluetooth works great. :)

That is correct, it isn't really an "extender", it's just a modification for the bluetooth, nothing else. There isn't a traditional extender for this remote.

Hello
Is there any chance for full extender for this remote?

Unlikely. I have no plans at present to do so, and I don't think anyone else has enough knowledge of this remote to do so either.
