Need Panasonic TV descrete codes

Post by fjmet »

Have Pan tv Big screen. Works partialy with device 250 or 128. Have looked at all the Pan codes at Yahoo. Vid1-Vid4, component1, component2, aspect-full and aspect-zoom work good under Pan 128. Cannot get Aspect-Just(051 4), Aspect-Normal(178 4), and Input-TV/Tuner(181) to work at all. Anyone have any suggestions??? Using an Atlas DVR non-learning remote.

Frank,

I made some suggestions in this thread

Your problem is one of three things:

1. You made a mistake in how you tested the commands

2. The TV doesn't respond to those commands

3. The TV responds to some other command

In this case I think the answer is 2. because the other commands that you tried worked and about a year ago "Bogdan" tested all 512 commands for Panasonic:128.0 and 128.4 and I don't think he found any other commands.

So since 1 and 3 are unlikely, then you are probably stuck with what you have. I suggested several work arounds, did you try those? Do they work? There are a bunch of Panasonic Plasma owners who don't even have discrete input commands, so you are probably lucky by comparison.

Finally, it is not a good idea to start another thread to discuss the same problem, since among other things you gave a very vague description of the problem and someone else may waste a lot of time going through the basics as you and I have already done. If you want to get someone to read it then just reply to the previous thread. If you have replied but no one answered just wait a few days and "bump" it to get the regulars here to take another look.
