BTW, if you'r starting fresh with the RCA you should be using the common JP1.3 extender that supports that remote. It's the latest with all of the bug fixes.

The individual RCA extender v1.xx is obsolete
this JP1 stuff is a sickness!

I set the two values in the photo to 1.

You will need to pair it to your apple tv in the setting menu.
