|
|
Got a Insight ON DEMAND Custom DVR 3-Device Universal Remote Control M2067BX3 that needed major repairs (battery connectors ate away by battery acid).
Anyways, AFTER I carefully put it together I then realized it had a JP1 header and I should've wrote down or took pics of the board and chips on it.
Does anyone happen to know which RDF I choose for this remote (without having to open it up again to examine it)?
I have IR 8.03 and RemoteMaster v2.02a beta 1.5w (160.45 Java) installed, if that matters.
TIA!

No need to pick an RDF. Just download, and RMIR will pick the correct one for you. It's probably going to be Comcast DVR URC-1067BX3. If not, we may have to make a new RDF for it.
You might also want to consider installing the latest Remote Master.
These remotes are about $5 shipped on ebay, so really not worth spending more than 15 minutes trying to repair. |

8.98 on ebay right now but this one seems to work fine; I just want to connect it to my computer to expand my programming abilities.
Correction. I'm using RemoteMaster v2.03 Alpha 28 build 16 (RM IR program specifically).
It works fine with my URC-8811 but keeps saying "No remote found" with this one which was why I figured I was missing something.
Perhaps it's not JP1? JP2 or 3 or something?
P.S. Reason I'm using that old version is I'm thinking the newer ones require newer Java? I still have Windows XP so I'm stuck... |

You need a JP1.3 cable. Your 8811 cable won’t work. |
