Pontiac Montana DVD codes?

Yes, I want to take JP1 mobile! The wimpy remote for our minivan DVD player has angered me for the last time. I want to use a JP1 remote with more guts.

Does anyone know a compatible protocol? I've spent time with Google and can't find the manufacturer of Pontiac's DVD system. Any ideas?

Do you have a JP1 remote that supports learning? If the DVD remote uses infrared, you should be able to learn the signals and let IR decode them. Then we can see if there's an exisiting setup code, or you can create your own upgrade.
