Not that it is really a big deal what the version number is, but I tend to agree with this post. You have made a relatively significant number of improvements to IR, more than would warrant a .0x version number (which seemed to be reserved mainly for bug fixes in the past).
Actually, I think version numbers *are* important. Most IR users (the ones posting to Beginners & General) are not tech savvy and do not follow this thread. To them, a new release with a significant version # increase means there are some major differences and additions. How many of you bothered to upgrade to IR 4.02? I didn't; it had nothing for me (and I actually bothered to check), and 4.01 works just fine.
