Yes I will. I've been crazy busy lately. I need to have quiet time where I can check and double check my work. i don't want to screw anything up!!The Robman wrote:Are you going to fix the files Vicky?

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Okay, these Lasko upgrades were reviewed, the PB file and the file that uses Nec1 were not changed. The others had the initial branch changed so it doesn't jump into the data.

Thanks
Thanks a lot for your help, it works perfect for my Samurai (Colombia imported Chinese no brand) Vertical Fan just add the "Function" button and all the remote is functional now.
The learning function Keeps interpreting as a F12 but doesn't work, this new protocol work like a charm.

If you had to add the Function button to complete the upgrade, could you load your upgrade please.

I have a OARUSB04G 4000 remote, which appears to have an incompatible processor (MAXQ610 series) with the Lasko upgrades in the files section. The learned signals work fine on the remote, just can't make a device upgrade as it maps to "F12" protocol that doesn't control the fan.
The learned signals have been posted here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=26718
Could the protocol update be added for the MSXQ610 processor?

I used RMIR 2.14.18 and the decode was F12x. Using 2.13.6 gave a decode of F12. So I suspect your version of RMIR is more than a year old. See http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... p?t=102988 from February 2022 when F12x was added to RMIR.
Anyway, the problem is likely not a missing executor for the MaxQ processors. F12x is sent by PID 016D, and a MaxQ version is included in Protocols.ini.
Converting to a device upgrade will probably work, but your learned signals aren't exactly F12x. F12x sends, as usual, device, subdevice, and OBC data repeatedly, but the very last repeat uses a different OBC value. This OBC2 is the same for all the functions. At present, a F12x upgrade will use a value of 0 for OBC2. I suppose (hope) that your fan will ignore this last burst when you release the button.
If the upgrade you make using a newer version of RMIR doesn't work, I'll have one more thing for you to try. If necessary, I'll make a custom executor to match your learned signals exactly.

It's also possible that he has the "IR Decoder" set to "DecodeIR". I have RMIR 2.14.18 also and when I first opened the file, I got no protocol decoded, then I switched the IR decoder to IrpTransmogrifier and got the F12x decodes.3FG wrote:I used RMIR 2.14.18 and the decode was F12x. I have created an upgrade using F12x using the learns posted above:

Sorry for the run around guys, I was using Remote Master V2.11. Updated to V2.14.18 and everything worked fine converting the learned signals to the device upgrade.
Robman your upgrade worked also.
I did try the two different decoders before I posted initially, but with the old remote master version it made no difference.
