Yes! That seems to have fixed it. Thanks 3fg, and Vicky, and Dave. Now I should be good until either this remote dies or I get new equipment. (I have been eying a new receiver....)

Hi, I'm trying to migrate my configuration from a Nevo C2 to the ARRX18g XSight 18.

I'm using the RemoteMaster v2.03 build 10. When I try to edit the devices to change remotes, I only get the Nevo C2 in the pull-down.

Looks like the RDF and Images folders have the RDF's and Maps.

Help......

You can only edit devices with existing upgrades. If you can't change remotes, your RDFs are missing. Download the full set of RDFs and Maps.

Go ahead and make upgrades for all your devices. That's much more efficient and flexible than tons of learns and key moves.

Save As, then open each later in Remote Master, then you can change the remote model. Works that way on purpose.

How does one copy the learns from one remote to another? Seems that I'm losing them when I try to migrate the individual device definitions.

did you know you can copy a learn from one IR session to another even if it is a different remote? I was surprised by that. Really helps if you are learning challenged like I am. I find that if I don't have a helper to operate one of the remotes I just can't do it, I don't think sideways!

Good luck

Learns aren't part of devices. Copy/paste from one learns tab to the other. But this is not a good practice. Better to convert the learns to function codes and delete the original learns. No self respecting RM user will have learns in his/her files.

Can you provide a url with instructions on the conversion. I did a search on "convert learns" with jp1 and only found:

thanks....

If the learns are for an existing device you already have an upgrade for, you can just look at the OBCs and add them to the functions tab.
