Nevo C2

Since EZ-RC has closed down, JP1 is your only option to get these remotes upgrades. We will (eventually) support all remotes formerly supported by EZ-RC, including the Moster Revolution 200.

First Newbie post! I have a Nevo C2 off Ebay. I manually programmed it but would like to have interactive functions such as turn everything on/off. Tried Remotemanager and get an error. Downloaded raw and get an error about a missing signature. Can anyone give me a link to a topic that will allow me ro solve my problem? Later, Added signature. Remote would not accept it.

Whenever you close RMIR, it creates a file rmaster.err in your RMIR installation folder. This contains a lot of information that is helpful to us in diagnosing errors. Please repeat your downloads, both the normal and the raw one, and post the rmaster.err files that are created. You need to do one download, close RMIR, rename the rmaster.err file (e.g. to rmaster1.err) so the next download doesn't overwrite it, then do the same for the other download and post both files for us to look at,

Does EZ RC work? I tried 2 things. I tried creating a email username and I get an error stating it exists. I tried logging in as an existing subscriber, nothing happens. Tried recovering the password for the email address I used and they now say it does not exist. OOPS! I'm using a MAC.

As I stumble I have been playing with the EZ-RC which I thought did not work. I found that it does work with the NEVO-C2. DUH! Since I am an Apple user that was not apparent. I drug out an old Laptop and tried the connection to my surprize.... it worked. Well so far the NEVO-C2 had been upgraded and has a basic program installed. Will continue.

Just for the information, with nevo c2 updated, one longer needs to use ez-rc.com any more. In fact, I got c2 to work with mac os x. I don't need to boot to windows for rmir any more. IMHO, the fact that ez-rc.com only works with IE is not that bad. After all I only use it once.

You might still want to use ez-rc in the future if you get a new device where we don't have an upgrade in the JP1 files, because you can use ez-rc to download codes from the UEI database.
