Hi, about 8 years ago I flashed my replaytv remote with extender macros and it's been working well for years. I'd like to add full remote functionality for my SA-AK33 receiver. There are LIRC codes available:

https://sourceforge.net/p/lirc-remotes/code/ci/master/tree/remotes/panasonic/N2QAGB000002.lircd.conf

More protocol info:
http://pc486.net/projects/btirctl/

Specifically I'm interested in the sleep, power, and volume functionality. How can I add these codes as a function/macro to my remote?

1. Device: Panasonic SA-AK33
2. Type of device: Stereo Receiver, tape, cd changer
3. Year: 2000
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-4641B00 replaytv-silver
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? yes
6. Still have original remote? no
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? ??
9. Partially working setup code? not sure
10. Learning remote question? no
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? yes, but not sure what to do??

thank you.

You can use IrScrutinizer to convert LIRC to IR protocol with device and OBC information. In my Web browser, I highlighted and copied everything from Begin Remote to End Remote. Used the Import tab and selected LIRC. Clicked on Load from Clipboard, and finally ImportAll. I copied the resulting table to a text editor, edited out the extraneous info, and here it is
Code:
Dev  Sub   OBC   Button Name
160   28   61      KEY_POWER
160   28   152     AUTO_OFF
160   28   150      KEY_SLEEP
160   28   16      KEY_1
160   28   17      KEY_2
160   28   18      KEY_3
160   28   19      KEY_4
160   28   20      KEY_5
160   28   21      KEY_6
160   28   22      KEY_7
160   28   23      KEY_8
160   28   24      KEY_9
160   28   25      KEY_0
160   10   164      DISC
160   28   132      >=10
160   10   138      PROGRAM
160   10   163      KEY_CANCEL
160   10   71      KEY_AGAIN
160   10   77      RANDOM
160   0   154      KEY_AUX
160   4   164      KEY_TUNER
160   8   150      KEY_TAPE
160   0   148      KEY_CD
160   16   131      EQ
160   0   50      MUTING
160   28   73      PREV/REV
160   28   74      KEY_NEXT
160   28   6      PAUSE/DOWN
160   28   0      STOP/CLEAR
160   28   10      KEY_PLAY
160   0   33      KEY_VOLUMEDOWN
160   0   32      KEY_VOLUMEUP
I think you should use Panasonic Combo to make an upgrade. I'm not familiar with the Replay 5000 remote, so I can't help with anything else.

Thank you 3FG, IR Scrutinizer is just the tool I was looking for. I think I can slog through the rest of the re-learning process with this.
