Nothing about this makes any senseecdahl wrote:But if this is the case and the built-in IR transmitter is too weak, does it then make sense that the power button is working?

http://placeshiftingenthusiasts.com/how ... -slingbox/
(And please read them in full, I waste a lot of time with people who haven't bothered)
(Although that will do nothing to help with the first message, that has nothing to do with the Slingbox, that is a set-top box issue.

Alan is only able to help you get your Slingbox to control your STB, whereas it sounds like you need help getting your STB working. It's very unlikely that anybody here knows anything about your STB. You should search to see if there is another forum that deals with that STB where there might be experts who can help you. When I search for "adb skt-5720sx" most results are in a foreign language, quite possibly in your language.

I also think that it would be the solution, but I browsed all websites about firmware flashing on set top boxes including devices working under a similar principle for example GPS (runing under WIN CE) but I didn´t find anything to help me solve this problem.
I didn´t try asking ADB Experts, can you advise how to contact them?

It was generic advice meaning you should try to find an expert, we're just remote control guys here. So, either try contacting ADB directly, or try to find a forum where people seem to know about ADB and ask there, or buy a new box.PeterKarvai wrote:I didn't try asking ADB Experts, can you advise how to contact them?
