Announcement: IR V4.0.3 Beta
Moderator: Moderators
Ah, incomplete directions once again. I finally searched the old group to see what Mark had said about the DEV directive. Not only do you need to remove it, you need to choose "Build All Projects" from the Project menu, not just Build IR. You need to do the same when you want to add it back to do more debugging.

It should. But it's worth a test anyway. Basically, with the DEV conditional defined, IR assumes the operating system needs a driver installed to access the parallel port. This isn't true with 95/98/ME, and in fact the driver won't load. Thus the error message. I'd be pretty shocked if it wasn't all cleared up now. Wish I'd looked at Mark's old post before, could have saved some time and frustration. Oh well, glad it's all fixed.

Thats fine since it it not going anywhere except Beta until Mark blesses it and distributes it officially. The Robman wrote:If y'all can wait until I get home to try it, I'll let ya know.Nils_Ekberg wrote:Do we know that fixing it on ME also fixes it on 98SE?
It just would be nice to stabalize it and let people keep using it while Mark goes through it. Not to mention, give Paul a breather
