My Lame Newbie questions re: 8910

Please don't flame me... I SWEAR I have searched the group, but I can't find out how to program my 8910 with the advanced codes!

I have tried using the 'magic' button which I think is the SET button on my 8910, but it doesn't work!

Any help is GREATLY appreciated:

Advanced Codes I want to use are with the TV 0054 (Philips)

This is Rob's home page and you might read on to decide to get involved with JP1 programming. But you can do a lot even without JP1.

Yeah, but what he needs are the instructions for actually programming buttons on the URC-8910 using advanced codes, and those aren't on my site yet (shame on me).
