URC8910 & JP1 Questions

Hi,

Just got my new URC8910 and have two questions.

A) Set the clock manually.

B) Uploaded new config. using IR.exe

C) Clock was reset.

1) Will the clock always reset when I upload a config using IR?

2) What are db-08 to db-14 that are in IR General Tab? Can I use them? How?

Yes, because the upload does a hardware reset. The extender for the 8910 however will reset the closk using the PC clock when uploading.

2) What are db-08 to db-14 that are in IR General Tab? Can I use them? How?

The db devices are simply logical devices with no physical buttons that you can assign upgrades to and use those device buttons in macros and keymoves.

With the extender you can actually use them for My_System device selection.
