SlingBox control of Now TV by Sky (rebranded Roku LT)

Post by StevePritchard »

Hi,

Can anybody assist me with my problem? I've set up my second SlingBox Solo to my Now TV Powered by Sky box (which is effectively a rebranded Roku LT, so I'm lead to believe), and have selected the standard "Roku Roku (VCR)" remote, and although it's the wrong colour, the buttons are all in the right place it works just fine from my PC, however when I access it from SlingPlayer for Android, then only the Back and Home buttons are mapped (in the "Misc" section), and the direction buttons are completely empty.

Is there a custom remote (or could one be produced) that would allow all the buttons to be accessible from SlingPlayer for Android?

Thanks,

Steve.

Might have it sorted. :D

Not sure if I have the most appropriate control, but the Roku XDS seems to function for both PC and Android, even if the layout and buttons aren't 100%.

If there's a remote with the proper layout, and all the buttons mapped properly in Android, then that would be great, but at least I can navigate the menus now. :D

Cheers,

Steve.
