Hi Friends, i am having this Comcast Remote, on the PCB its printed URC-2067BG2, AUGUST 11,05 REV.II, whereas inside the battery compartment there is a sticker showing model URC-1067ABG1-B003. now please can anyone tell me which model is this? also i want to know whether do i have to add any Eeprom IC on the PCB, because when i click on check interface, i am getting "No response from the remote", its saying check interface, i have tried all four models from the IR 8.04 Database. Here are the pics:-

That is a 1067 JP1.2 remote. You can check this by doing a 983 signature blinkback. I expect it will be 1009. So use the RDF labeled CS301009. This remote is flash based and does not use an EEPROM.

Thanks 3FG, you are right its a JP1.2 remote actually .2 was hidden behind AA Battery VBATT Steel Rod, so was missed by me, now i only have a JP 1 Parallel Cable which is working well, I had also build Simple JP1.2/3 Interface for a Serial Port but it didn't work for me, dont know what went wrong.

Try a ultracheap usb-serial converter. I used a CP202x based with URC 2981 and worked immediately. Anyway try to invert RX and TX, no one knows which is which... Very Happy

good luck
