Dear All,

I've read the instructions and tried to learn to decode a protocol myself, but it's still not clear for me. Could anybody help me to decode the following protocol, please?

It is from an IR remote control for a low cost tower fan, with only 5 buttons. These are the data from RMIR learned signals tab:

Code:

Hello TiceRex,

Many fans use the same controllers, and the same ir signals. We've seen it many times. What's nice is this is a great training protocol for biphase signals.

You can probably get this up and running using the Honewell or Lasko upgrades from the file section.

If you are interested in learning, you might want to check out these threads below. Ask any follow up questions in this thread.

freq = 37.735
one = + 422 -1268
zero= +1268 -422
lead out =6766

freq = 37.735
1 = +636 -1914
0 = +1908 -642
lead-in = n/a
lead-out = -20410
Windchaiser and Hawaiian Breeze are similar fans but the timing on the protocol is a little different

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Here's what I got, and it does look very similar to those other codes that Vicky found:
Code:
0010 01101111 Swing
0010 01110111 Timer
0010 01111011 Mode
0010 01111101 On / Speed
0010 01111110 Off

Freq = 38k
Leadin: n/a
Leadout = 6720
whole signal repeats

0 = +1260 -420
1 = +420 -1260
