Alan is away on vacation until the 22nd. In the meantime have you tried the various Strong bin files in the file area?
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

I tríed all strong remote on the slinger and the ones in your datebase are old ones
Do you want to say that I need to upload all bin files to try if its works ?And if you upload 10 bin files, will it be a problem ?
And if you reset the slingbox ,do you have to upload it again .?

Regards and thanks for the quick answer.

Strong is one of those brands that changes the protocol over and over. If the bin files from the file section don't do the trick, your best bet is to wait for AlanRichey to return on October 22. Alan is our recognized slingbox expert. The rest of us are focused on remotes.

One thing more. Do not know exact how the slingbox works, but when I turn on the slingbox with the remote control with the app, another media player turns on,Because they have the same remote frequency. This is not new,but is there a way to avoid this. I tríed to hide a little bit the media player but it still turns on.

It's not the frequency, nearly all remotes use the same frequency, it is the speciific codes. I assume the same thing happens with the real remote ?

With a slingbox it should be less of a problem, because you should be able to shield the other device from the signal your irblaster sends out.

We see a lot of this kind of cross talk on "no name" devices that use NEC1, 0 signals.

Sometimes media players have "unit" codes, that allow you to change the signal pattern that the unit is going to respond to. That would be in the device manual.

I also have devices that respond to more than one devices that respond to completely different signals than the ones the remote sends.

I have even had a conflict with my xmp devices thinking my sharp TV signals were an XMP pattern. That is the only time just changing the frequency ever fixed a conflict problem for me. Thank goodness, because everytime I changed the picture size, the XMP cable box switched over to Nascar!

So there is a slim chance that there might be some kind of solution, but it all depends on WHY the signal is effecting both units.
