The required template.
1. Device:Samsung-SMT-s5140
2. Type of device: Satellite Box
3. Year:
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: not applicable
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? no
6. Still have original remote?
7. Checked the file section? yes for hours and hours
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)?
9. Partially working setup code?
10. Learning remote question?
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool?

We have an upgrade for the Samsung smt-s5140 in the file area, although it is in the form of a Slingbox bin file. Upon opening it I see that it is a Nokia32 34.240 x 39 upgrade. That same upgrade will operate a Samsung DSB-H670N. This code is also associated with VisSat products. Some UEI remotes have a setup, Cable/ 1682, that can operate this device. The only UEI remotes that I know that have the code built-in, are the URC-7525, URC-7940 , URC-7950 and the URC-8350, although I don't know about the newest UEI remotes.

The problem of course is that we know nothing about the remote that you are trying to use. As far as I know, it is not a UEI remote.

We only deal with UEI remotes here, unless your remote supports pronto hex.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
