Yamaha Receiver Codeset 2467

Post by cpurick »

I have an RCRP05BR and a Yamaha RX-V375 home theater switch/amp. None of the Yamaha codes given for the remote will toggle power, but one of the provided Yamaha codes will turn it on while another code will turn it off. Damndest thing.

I have an old Yamaha remote that actually shoots discretes for this device (I have no idea what happened to that old tuner, or what model it was). So I was able to learn the power discretes, but I would like to build a proper device into this remote.

Previously, I had luck programming this device with codes from receiver code 2467, but that one isn't on the RCRP05BR (it was in the OARUSB04G). I believe one of the codes on the RCA remote that partially works is 0176.

Is is possible to get the 2467 code set? Or how might I go about reproducing it for the RCRP05BR?

I'm not seeing 2476 in any of our databases. I see 0176, 0376, 1176, 1276, 1476 and 1815. Did you mean 1476. If so, it's in there. Do you have a JP1 cable?

Here are some codes you can try without a cable:

Using Audio 1815, the EFCs are
Power Toggle 36741
Power Off 17029
Power On 16005.
You can probably use setup code Audio 0376 also.

The RCRP04B won't accept manually entered keymoves on the Power button. If you use a cable you can assign keymoves to the Power button.
Some people who don't have a cable use the Live button as a Power button.
