You tried the lookup tool but didn't see that there are 3 setups in the various remotes that shoot Necx2 45.45 signals with some alternate EFCs for the various functions
So you have a non-learning remote
and are missing arrow keys?
DVD/0741 offers some alternatives
037 Arrow_Down 037
233 Arrow_Left 233
231 Arrow_Right 231
170 Arrow_Up 170
You tried the file section but didn't see we have a LG Master for DVD players?
What are you asking for? |

I replied to my abilities what i understood, as my englilsh is not so good, i have no idea about EFCs and how it works?.

I know that my remote is non learning as there is no IR Sensor In the Hardware.
Basically i want to Operate USB Function which is assigned to "HOME" Button on the Original remote & SETUP Button is also not working, i have original LG Remote of LG RH1888 DVD/HDD Recorder, In place of Home Button it has List/Disk Menu Button which is not working with USB Function, i thought i might get original file so i can upload that file In the VCR Device of my URC-9541.
RH398 DR389 (I want this one)
Ok i have have downloaded LG RH398_urc-10820B00 -RM File From LG Master and selected my model from the Drop Down Menu From Remote Master URC-7541-2K EEPROM, In the layout some of the keys were not matching so i have modified according to my requirements, saved the output file on my desktop.
Now i want to know few things,
What is this URC-10820B00?? Is it the EEPROM ID?
Can i just upload this modified file in my URC-9541? or i have to do anymore modification, does it harm my Eeprom IC?
Note:-On the Battery Cover Inside sticker its printed URC-7541-BO2-02 P532-CKCC DJ
and in the Rawdata Column of IR It says Signature:EO40EO40, Processor Samsung:S3C8+. |

If you download from your remote, what model does IR say it is? That's what you need to pick in the drop down. Then copy/paste the upgrade from the output tab in RM into IR or RM as it says in the "How Easy Is It" tutorial on the Wiki site linked at the top of this page. So far, you have followed the correct procedure. I would recommend using RM instead of IR from now on since it is easier, no copy/paste or picking the right model required. |
