Hello alexscampos, when I first read your post in this subforum yesterday, I was working my way into a gentle rebuke for not following the subforum rules, of using the template.
I was relieved to see that you posted the same question in the slingbox forum, so I just deleted your post from here, without having to "say" anything.
Now you've posted again, so here goes.
Etiquette.
If you post in this forum, you need to use the template.
Don't cross post, it really messes things up if you get simultaneous threads going.
Do bump your own thread, if it seems like you got overlooked.
If you get help LEAVE FEEDBACK, your gratitude and confirmation that the advice was correct, is the only reward your helper gets .

As you found, we have a slingbox subforum, but you have not had a response from alanrichiey yet. Remember it is the week between Christmas and New Years when many of our regulars are on holiday.
I usually travel with a emergency JP1 kit, but many don't. It is such a hassle at airport security when they look at your bag and want to know why you are carrying multiple remotes, batteries, and various strange looking electronic gizmos.
I'm sure alan will be with you shortly.
Happy Holidays

Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
