I think binky and Vicky are probably right. The batteries were definitely low when I loaded in the patch. Thanks very much.
I used to have 5 remotes that controlled one thing each. Now I have 6 remotes that each control everything!

Thanks to all of you!

I loaded in an image that binky sent, and the remote now works perfectly! Thanks to all of you for your help. Vicky was spot-on: low voltage was the culprit.

binky123 wrote:Here is the code for the URC-10820N

Code: Select all

  01 FA 00 21 01 00
End

Upgrade Protocol 0 = 01 FA (HCS08) Patch for Faster Macros for URC-8820N/10820N
  20 04 00 00 01 00 45 28 00 35 50 96 02 02 CD FE

  B9 50 B7 50 45 03 7B 35 52 CD FE B0 CD FE 2A CC
  FD EF
End
The 10820N code has not been tested but it should work.
binky123, this does a great job with most of my gear, but is there a way to adjust the fast speed from 0.002 s to about 0.010 s? The 0.007 s patch you wrote for the 15-100 works with all my gear. Thanks!

Increase the red value to 03 or greater and see what works. You have to experiment a few times to see what works for your equipment.

You know, the 10820n extender is pretty much ready for general use. The Macros are faster than out of the box, although not as fast as this patch.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Thanks, once more. Changing 02 to 04 did the trick.
