I'm trying to put a Multiplex Device into a DSM macro and the remote is acting crazy...

I have the ocap URC-1056 B01 with the 2.13 extender.

I'd like to be able to switch the input of my HDMI matrix which is on the F2 key (Device Multiplexor). The problem is that the macro is in the special protocol tab of IR because I'm using the DSM protocol.

How do I make this work?

Here's how my macro look like:

X_TV
F2....................(Device Multiplexor: HDMI matrix)
Phantom10......(Delay)
2..................... (HDMI matrix Input 2)
F1....................(Device Multiplexor:TV)
Phantom4........(TV Input HDMI 1)
CBL..................(Go to cable device)

I think you need to keymove those functions to a real (or phantom) device for that to work. Multiplexing essentially changes the setup code but doesn't do the device selection that the extender requires. How many devices do you have, and do you really need to multiplex?

I have 7 devices and I do not need to multiplex if I do not have to.
A phantom device? I've done phantom keys but never heard of phantom device. How does that work?

Some remotes have additional phantom devices that show up on the general tab. But I see that yours doesn't. So that's not an option for you. I think the best option is for you to keymove those few functions to a real device.
