Motorola zaptor .bin remote codes, no record

Yes i use Motorola cablebox and zaptor remote bin codes.
But how can i have "record" buttom to func\work?
When im outside house, other countries i can not use "record" buttom, (ofcourse same from home at local network)
is this possible at all?

Which specific device are yopu talking about ? And why can you not use the Record button ?
