The Remote Control Firmware if that file is possible to get.
I mess my RC, after reassigning The VCR and PVR keys for TV and programming other TV RC codes into the VCR the 9960 RC started working oddly. Tried the reset codes 890, 891, 977 and did not solve my problem, make the situation worse, now the RC won't enter into setup mode, when press any key either the screen turns off or all the keys light up.
Think That if I can reinstall a clean firmware could solve this problem

JP1 remotes with an EEPROM, are almost indestructible. There is no firmware fix. The only changeable area is the EEPROM area.
Now that said, a fresh set of batteries and a *981 reset will probably fix all your problems.
For your Kameleon remotes:
Press and hold SETUP button, 2 flashes
Press OTHER
Type 981, 4 flashes

Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
