I am having a brain (skip)....I am in need on one more learned function...can't access setup 975 with extender...please confirm that I CAN...
.... unload extender, learn the one function I need, and then load the extender? And to also re-confirm....to unload extender, I just need to plug in the JP1 cable? Thanks guys. I have had a lot of stuff going on in my "real" world since I got the remote setup with all of your generous help several weeks ago, and need to be refreshed for this one thing. |

You guessed it, you can not do learns when the extender is loaded so what you outlined is the process. Unload the extender (either reset or load a non-extender IR file), do the learns, download to IR, then reinstall the extender and add your learns as either an upgrade or keymove.

I had to do this a few times. Good planning can save you time.
Just don't forget to save your setup before you reset  |
