Can't get RS 15-2117 to work with XBOX!

I've downloaded http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=3170 and used RM to create a mapping for my RS 15-2117. I save this rmdu file, then reopen it using RMIR and upload it to my RS 15-2117. The XBOX does not respond at all. If I use the XBOX 360 Media remote http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Media-Re ... d_sim_vg_1 from the same position, the xbox responds immediately. RM shows that this is just a regular RCA protocol, so I am stumped.

Can anyone help?

I just tried to learn a key from my xbox remote and got this:

Protocol MCE
Device 116
Subdevice 15
OBC 24
HEX 18
MISC T=0

Seems like a different protocol???

I believe you are trying to use an Xbox upgrade for your Xbox 360. The one you linked seems to be for the original Xbox, not the 360.

It is for the Xbox 360 media remote that you have and uses the MCE protocol. You should hopefully have better luck.

Yep, that's better (although there is even a more updated version with more keys defined). Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
