This bug is now fixed. See this post for details of the RMIR development version that includes the bugfix.

I don't recognise this behaviour. Vicky, can you give me a concrete example of such corruption? _________________ Graham |

Will answer this in the software forum _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Thanks. I downloaded it and now it no longer hangs.
And thank you again to vickyg2003 for the protocol. I should note that the reason I start off my RMIR session downloading from the remote is to verify that my interface to the remote is working. While the netbook works fine, the desktop won't make a connection until I try something, fail, unplug the usb, replug the usb, and re-select COM8 from the menu. I'd rather do something 'safe' by downloading and failing, then upload something and fail...

I'm glad the download is working. I use a download to tell which remote I happened to pick up. A download is real important, but you still want to work from your RMIR file instead of your download so that you have all the documentation kept together. |
