Problem getting OK/Select to function with DVD

I ALMOST have this remote acting the way I want it to, almost... Earlier, last month I posted and was schooled on the process to get my Sony Blu Ray working with my ATLAS 1056 . http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... highlight=
I learned that the Blu Rays were too new for the ATLAS to support, but I was directed to some upgrades that worked for me except for one problem. For some reason I can't figure out, when I press the OK/Select button while operating my Blu Ray, it sends the OK signal to my Cable box. It only happens while I am operating the Blu Ray, the OK/Select works fine in the other devices it is programmed, TV and AUD. Why would a button programmed for the DVD send a signal thru the Cable? There aren't any keymoves or anything odd that I can see, but of course my eyes are pretty new at this.

To properly diagnose the problem we need to see the files involved. The cable remotes like to BE cable remotes, and sometimes they are tricky. If I recall correctly you are using the 30333033 Atlas, and that one is a JP1.3 remote. The JP1.3 remotes are a lot more forgiving than the JP1.2 remotes. Those remotes insist on using the menu keys for the cable box. I'm not sure what's going on with your remote.

You have Cable Channel Control selected as On. That tells the remote to route the "Channel" group of buttons to the cable box. It does this for TV and DVD device modes. This affects the digit, CH+/- and OK buttons.

You probably want this behavior while watching TV (at least for digits and Ch+/-), because it's really the cable box that is changing channels. If you have a PVR, you may want this behavior on DVD also.

Turning Channel Lock off will probably mean that you'll unhappy while watching TV. Instead use a keymove to make the OK/Select button send the normal DVD OK/Select IR signal when you're in DVD mode. Many people also find that they want the OK/Select button in TV mode to also be sent to the TV instead of the cable box.

Thanks for the response, that would explain it. Would you please explain how you saw that I have this function on by looking at my RMIR file? Where is it located? Acutally you probably just assumed I had it on right? I just checked and that was the case. I did a 973 and fixed it. I thank you.

Another strange problem I just remembered, also with this Blu Ray player is the Open/Close function. For some odd reason, I have to press it twice to get it to work. The first press does not light up the DVD button, but the second push does and the Blu Ray player reacts.
