Yep. (meaning: Nope) - just got a reply from him saying that he is not interested at this stage.

Also asked the Comcast seller about OK buttons (hope he is not colour blind... :-) No reply so far.

Over to you, Rob... :-) (PM sent)

Are you in the UK? There are lots of JP1.3 One-For-Alls like THIS URC-7525 quite cheap.

The Comcast ebayer came back to me saying that he's got plenty of both types (1067 and 1067B), so I have at least one option now, but would need to switch to using JP1.3, which should be OK.

Rob, if you could kindly check the availability of JP1 remotes from your "treasure boxes" and let me know soon, I'd appreciate that. Thanks.

One of the advantages of moving to JP1.3, is that JP1.3 remotes have a bigger, newer selection of built-in setup codes. That vastly improves the code search's chances of finding a match for your "rescues".

Not urgent at all - in the next 10 or 15 minutes will be fine... :-)

Seriously, take your time Rob - I think I will buy those ebay Comcasts anyway, and that will "get me out of jail" for now, but I would still like to consider buying your old JP1s. So, when you have time... days... weeks...

Vicky, could you please check your PM thanks...

Or if anyone else could help me here please - I am getting a bit confused with the identification of Comcast 1067(B) remotes by the colour of their OK/Select buttons as the seller claims that he's got some grey-buttoned ones, and their model number on the label starts with 1067B***

The RC summary spreadsheet shows that 1067 has grey OK button, and 1067B has a red one.
Is there such a thing as grey-OK-buttoned 1067B (not 1067) with JP1.3 interface?

Not to my knowledge. I happen to like the gray button remotes, because that's my specialty, but when I was buying Comcast remotes in bulk, I never found a red button 1067A, nor a gray button 1067B, but you never know.

Now, there is nothing to say that some of these were not taken apart and put back together with the wrong skin, or the wrong back.....

Be sure have the seller do a signature blink back.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
