6. Still have original remote? No
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes

Probably sold only in Canada...
Remote can be seen in installation manual on page 4:

I'm also willing to try any other fireplace remote codes from other manifacturers... since these China made devices might have been sold under other names using the same control circuits. |

There wasn't an exact match on the Logitech Harmony Database; however, the Greenway MFB28-2 was offered as a conciliatory option. I recorded the signals of the respective device's IR profile using IR Scope & Widget. Since the protocol comes up as <unknown>, perhaps one of our wonderful protocol creators can assist you further.

Mario, you have a learning remote and a cable, learn the signals and post your IR or RMIR file in the diagnosis section and post a link in this thread. Then we can see if these are similar to the other electric fireplace. Then we can create an upgrade for one or both fireplaces. |

I believe this might hinder your request.

The IRP is
{37.4k,425,msb}<1,-3|3,-1>(A:12,16)+
Of course we don't know how the engineers intended this to be divided, but A can be partitioned to give D:4, F:8 which would give us maximum flexibility.
{37.4k,425,msb}<1,-3|3,-1>(D:4,F:8,16)+
If divided this way, we have D=13, and the OBCs are Code: |
Heat 132 110110000100
Power 136 110110001000
Cooler 130 110110000010
Hotter 129 110110000001
Time 195 110111000011 |
I'll try using Graham's new executor generating facility in RMIR next. |

Test rmdu for Muskoka MFB28-2
This was tested using an Atlas 1056B01, and seems to give the correct signals. Built using RMIR protocol feature. |

Wow!
I am really impressed! So quick to get an answer here, and it simply works!
All I needed to complete it is reassign them where I want.
Thanks! |

Good! Thanks, Earl (eferz). I've added the HCS08 executor and moved the upgrade file to Device Upgrades\Misc. |
