Re: All-in-one codes for ilo dvr recorders

Yes, this is confirmation that the DVD/0558 and 0623 codes do work with the ilo dvr recorders.

This should work for the All-in-One remotes (and possibly many others).

I used the URC-6131nw all-in-one model.

Set DVD -> 0623 code (you can also use the PVR button).
This did not work for my URC ...

No, actually. We bought this megapak last month, but I am uncertain of their "freshness". Guess I need to buy a tester.

If you did a reset the remote wouldn't be programmed for components anymore.:)
Did a reset when the remote stopped working. Then entered the codes again to no avail.

Do you have a camcorder or digital camera? Use it to look to see if the remote is actually firing, you can see the infra-red ...

6012B stopped working again

Tried the 981 reset again and this time it wont work.
I still get the red light to blink on key presses and code entries (which is why I still have hope), but no effect on my components.
Anymore ideas before this thing gets trashed?
Thanks.

Yeah it does. Overlooked that forum, sorry.

Working again! Thanks.

Yes it does, it's DVD/0672, but even if it didn't, there's no reason why a JP1 user would want to use the steps outlined on that page.

Unfortunately, this 6012b has no JP1 connector or learning keys. Is there another way to program?
(sorry maybe this should be in the ...

OK. I borrowed some batteries from the supply room and did the reset.
I'll try it when I get home. Thanks.

PS - Should this remote have correct code for the Apex 600A DVD player or should I use the steps here? http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/apex_help.shtml.

I think that was the first thing OFA support had me try.
Not sure though. I'll try it again. Thanks.

6012B stopped working

Even with new batteries, all it does is blink the red light when you press a key. No codes make it work. Should I just toss it or is it worth fixing?
Thanks.

Samsung DVD-HD841 dead?

This player wont do anything when you turn it on except display "LOAD" on the display. I think the firmware is fried. Is there a way to replace the EEPROM or otherwise fix it? I'd hate to just throw it away.

Thanks.

OK. Finally got my cable but no luck so far.
I tried using that DVDR985 file and all the buttons were mapped incorrectly (I think Power was only correct one).
Also tried DVD/0646, protocol RC-6, code 48 and that didn't work at all (No working functions. The Device Upgrade Code I got from ...
