Toad Tog Issue: RS2116 Ext. 2 and IR6RC3

Hello,

I'm having a problem using ToadTog with my RS2116 Ext.2 and IR6RC3 when using the Spcl Prot Funs tab.

I'm using toggles to track modes. When I execute a macro to setup an A/V mode, such as DVD viewing mode, TV viewing mode, or Tuner listening mode, I set that toggle to on, and the others ...

Update

All:

FYI, I'm having the same problem with my 8810.
Since the probability of both remotes having the
same problem is essentially nil, I have concluded
that it's my PC.

I will live with the problem.

Thanks for all your comments.
If the problem is with your PC, the URC-8810 won't perform any better.
D'Oh! I have to think before I type. I bought one anyway, just
because I wanted more keys. BTW, isn't the whole idea of
JP1 to elliminate multiple remotes? Now I'm thinking about the
next model to buy!

So, aside ...

Looking for Codes: Pioneer Elite DV-45A

I'm hoping that someone has these. I'd like to see if there
are any direct ways to set SACD to multi, then back to PCM.
You have to go pretty deep in the menus to get there with
moves and enters.

Thanks.

Well, I'm trying to master the logic. What I'm saying is, I think,
within the context of ext2 DSMs. Maybe I don't understand DSMs.
The way I understood the ext2 DSM doc, it said I could include
several hex commands in a keymove as a DSM. So I was asking
if I could nest keymoves that are bound to ...

Thanks for the reply. I'm starting to notice a pattern. It seems to
be an issue with my home computer and not my work computer
(I'm not admitting that I do this at work!).

Could it be sending noise to the com port before the actual upload
begins?

Thanks very much for your replies. Here's one more (I wish I could
promise there won't be any others, but I can't).

BTW, this is a ridiculous little hobby, but it sure is addictive.

2. Bound Device means this keymove is created for this device only; it will work when you select this "bound ...

Fundamentals: key moves, devices and protocols

Hello,

I'm using using extender 2 with a 2116. Here's
my question.

1. Why are shift functions included in the key
moves table after adding a device upgrade? Is there
any way to include the shift functions as part of
the device upgrade without affecting the move/macro
memory?

2. In the key move ...

Ok thanks for the replies. That clears up the @, but as usual,
more information brings more questions. BTW, I'm using extender2.

If I take your suggestion to the extreme, and say, create
6 CBL devices that run 6 actual components, what will that do
to macros, toadtogs, etc?

Can I create my own ...

Questions about Keymap Master and the 15-2117

Hi,

Sorry if I'm going over past issues, but I'm confused about this point.
I'm working on a device upgrade for my receiver (Denon A/V 3803).
It shows the following keys as "@" keys on the "buttons" tab: sleep,
pip, info, swap, move, +100, freeze. But, my remote (2116) has these keys. Since the ...

2116 Erratic Behavior

Hello All:

First, thanks for all the JP1 work. Those of you
involved in the development of IR.exe, etc. have
provided a great service to the user community.

Second, I did a search for this problem. I found some
references to other issues with the 2116, but
nothing describing my problem. If I ...
