Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

I'll dig the cable out and learn the remote and see what happens.

There is some space to be saved from the suggestions in that other thread so i'll make those changes while i'm on and hopefully it'll all fit in!

Thanks

Hi,

First of all, thank you for taking the time to look at my files and post - it's really appreciated.

Well, it's hard to sort out which device upgrades you are using in which file, as there are multiple using the extender rdf for several of the devices, and multiple non-extender upgrades for ...

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

I did get a warning about something been too big when I added my last device/protocol - however I stopped getting this after installing the extender so I assumed the extra usable memory it gives fixed it.

I'll try the new way of installing next time - I was just ...

Hi,

I've got all my devices setup in my remote but I need to install an extender as i've used some of the keys you can't use without it (Fav etc).

I'm following the install.txt file but i'm getting this when running install.bat:

Learning Samsung DVD Remote

Hi,

I'm trying to learn commands for my Samsung HR730 DVD Recorder in the same way i've just learned my other remotes but I just keep getting corrupt signals (with the Gap protocols).

I've tried new batteries but still get the same thing.

Are there any issues with Samsung remotes?

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the reply!

I just tried Panasonic Combo, setting the main device to 160 and leaving the OEM fields blank.

I added the protocol to IR and the Device.

Any ideas or shall I post the RM file?

Thanks

Can anyone tell me which I should be using and what I should be entering?

Different Sub-Devices?

Hi,

I'm trying to make a remote file for my Panasonic Hi-fi using RM.

I've got all the functions learned and into RM but they are not working - it was then I noticed that on each of the buttons, the Sub-Device is different, for example:

POWER:
- Device: 160
- Sub-Device: 28
- EFC: 024

Hi,

Sorry, should have checked before posting - those learns dont even work when I test with the TV.

I just tried re-learning power and it works on the TV and comes through as per the guide.

Oh well, starting again!

Learning

Hi,

I'm creating a new device for my TV as it's a rebranded cheap LCD (Compacks) so there are no codes for it.

I have learned each of the buttons into my URC-8910, downloaded into IR and am about to create a new device file in RM, as per Rob's intro document.

However, when i've done to create it ...
