Re: URC-8811B00

Here's my experience with the URC8811B00 remote.

For me, with the exactly the same remote, IR auto-check always complained, same for Check Interface. With or without batteries in the remote.

My last test was to ignore the autocheck, put no batteries in the remote, and everything worked like a ...

Thanks for the above comment :-)

I indeed did read the FAQ and sticky comments before (BTW, the 'how to use the learning function' sticky post did not work for my 8811 -- better use the manuel of the remote). Nevertheless, it looks like my 8811 was only able to get garbage.

Thanks for the above reply. I'll have a look.

So, I did.

Actually, it was even easier: stay with TV/0060 but modify (key move) with IR the required function to be put on the OFA (like PIP and a few others key) based on the extended code from another upgrade (as it looks like a lot of upgrades ...

Hello,

Looks like I'm having more trouble than expected with my JVC DVD recorder

Using ...

Code for this TV is 0812

This is also what UEIC kindly replied to my email about Samsung LE40R51B.

But, it does not really help since I'm unable to find (and I skimmed the download section) the upgrade for TV/0812.

Is there a way to find in the download section a specific code when we known ...

Just for the record, according to this file , the JVC D10 recorder uses the JVC protocol with a device code of 111. This matches DVD/1164 which is a new code that's not in many remotes. I only see it listed in the URC-8203 and URC-8206 remotes (in Europe).

Indeed, this was confirmed by UEIC ...

OFA and JVC DVD recorder

In which device category should I use for my DVD recorder?

I tried DVD with JVC brand but without any success...

BTW, if you have the extended codes for the JVC DVD recorder DR-MH300, they are welcome :-)
