Thanks Rob. I posted my candidate RDMU for the Bose here (diagnostics area):

The reasons for how I named and mapped the Bose functions are documented in the notes. You are welcome to use my function names and assignments to ...

Hi everyone. I've tested all of this and it is working. My Bose Solo TV Speaker (soundbar) is now integrated and works perfectly with my URC-2025. Many thanks. :D :D :D

I'll be testing this on a couple of older remotes that I have as well and if you don't hear from me you can assume they work as ...

Bose Solo TV Speaker (soundbar)

I have just purchased the new Bose Solo TV Speaker (soundbar) which I would like to integrate with my URC2025(B0-B1) remote. However, I cannot find a protocol for my remote that works for this soundbar. (note that protocol ID: 010C does not work - it sends wrong patterns).

I have included this IR ...

Problem with PROTOCOLS section in V1.02 of URC-1067Bx3 ext.

I am in the process of upgrading to an Arris Gateway / Portal CATV media system. In reprogramming my remotes I came across a problem with:
3A393A39 (Comcast DVR URC-1067Bx3 JP1.3 extender V1.02).rdf

According to IRScope the Arris Gateway / Portal system uses MCE protocol for the remote IR ...

The Champion 2025 remote is also a JP2 remote and is programmed via the 5 holes at the bottom of the remote instead of the traditional 6 pin header in the battery compartment.

Hey Tony, I don't mean to be ignoring you. I spent a few hours in January and figured out that VBS needed special handling. Got it up an running, a couple of weeks before Hammsterman said something and about 9 months before you answered.

I do find setting up RM to be a bit of a trial everytime I ...

The RM setup programs which I rewrote has been published for a month now. The latest version is: 1.4 - it is about 3 weeks old and seems stable. I have not found any new issues or bugs. You can still find it here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12059

I also tried setting:

KeyMoveSupport=N

in the [General] section of the RDF. It didn't seem to do anything. In fact this setting seems to be ignored if SegmentTypes $07 and $08 are enabled (because the "Key Moves" TAB comes back in RMIR regardless if KeyMoveSupport=N is included in the RDF)... :eek:

Did you try the Special Functions tab? It works for DSM on the un-extended RCA RCRP05B. I would expect others to work too, as long as their RDFs are correct.
Thanks for this reference to the RCRP05B. I am working on an RDF for the URC-2025 and my prototype RDF didn't have anything in it that would ...

Remote Master DSM support for un-extended remotes

A number of the newer remotes (especially the JP1.4 and JP2 varieties) support Device Specific Macros (DSMs) without requiring an extender. Does Remote Master (or can Remote Master) provide DSM support for these remotes (with no extender loaded)? I note that the "missing" piece is the "Bound Button ...

Keymoves are described in segment types $07 and $08. So change SegmentTypes=$00 $DA $1A $01 $09 $07 $08 $10 $17 $18 to
SegmentTypes=$00 $DA $1A $01 $09 $10 $17 $18
Thanks for this. It mostly works.

The "Keymove" TAB disappeared in RMIR, however RM - Device Upgrades (and the associated RMDU files ...

The Atlas 1056B03 does not support keymoves as delivered from the factory, although Graham has provided an extender that implements keymoves. On the other hand, the Comcast 1067BC4 is also a JP2 remote, but it does support keymoves. I think it is a newer remote than the Atlas.

So it isn't clear to ...

URC-2025 remote versus keymoves

I can't get keymoves to work on my URC-2025. I first tried using RMIR to setup a keymove and everything looked like it worked (the correct keymove binary setup (JP2-EFC5) was loaded into the remote's memory) but the keymove didn't work. The re-programmed key operated just like the keymove didn't ...

I still think my suggested solution which is a "standard Windows" setup.exe is the better one. (Based upon Inno setup ) Although almost two years old and therefore not based on the current version, I think that it is in a state that can be discussed. (Sorry Tony...)

I didn't know that another ...
