Tried the batteries that worked in the Green one in the Red one and that was a no go.

Tried new & not so new batteries.

Also tried removing the betteries & reseating them (multiple times).

Haven't attempted a "backwards" battery. I'll try it, but it not holding out much hope.

I just bought 2 8811s from you (they just arrived on Friday). Anyway, one is a Green backlight and the other is a Red backlight.

The Green works fine, but for the life of me I can't get the Red one to take any JP1 commands.

OK, well I'm only somewhat going crazy.

I tried the 0145 and the one in the files section and they both worked the same.

I guess it's just that the advanced type commands don't work with my TV.

The Discrete On, Discrete Off & the Video 1,2,3,4 commands don't work.

If it didn't, the laws of the universe are coming apart. In that file, the discrete on is EFC 022 and discrete off is EFC 026.
