Yes it does have an antenna and with so many useless local channels it's a bit of a pain to scroll through. I can obviously delete the 40 religious channels and the 6 foreign language channels but they will just pop up again when the FCC moves a frequency AGAIN!!

Thanks guys I Acutally have 2 Acoustic Research ARRX15G and I recently bought a Nevo C2 so I am very familiar with the USB varietals but My trusty 810 doesn't have buttons that fail and is slightly more SAF.

update: I found an old (1993) OFA remote and stole the IR LED from that and it works. it even still Learns.

another benifit over a chopped up EIDE cable is that the connector is longer and easier to grab out of my RCU810 but it works great.
