RM vs KM RC5 Protocol help
I am starting to learn RM after using KM for a while, and I am setting up my ARCAM devices. In RM, for RC5 I have to use 2 device codes; one to get the OBCs < 64 and one to get the OBCs >64. I don't see a similar feature in KM - what am I missing?
thanks,
Dave

As I recall the detailed picture of the remote os on page 18. Later in the manual are all the OBCs for ARCAM functions.

Interesting Question
Now that is an interesting theory - that the EFC-based functions do different things depending on what the box sees at the other end. If so, I wonder what the codes are for RGB users? LOL!
In any case, I'm still a bit surprised there doesn't seem to be a button to scroll through the available ...

LOL
Chuck,
That is pretty wierd
But, anyway, the EFC ranges look the same even if the functions are different. I take it everything else looked the same on DVI?

One More Step
OK, I've bundled everything I've been able to find about this device and put it into a KM spreadsheet and uploaded it to the Yahoo JP1 group under HDTV devices. I was unable to find a remote buootn that exactly duplicates the function of the "format" key on the front, but I did find discretes for ...

Hi Guys,
I got one of these boxes at Christmas, also, and was wondering where you were in the process of searching for discrete codes. No sense in duplicating effort if you guys have already resolved the issue. so far, I've IR learned all the keys on the remote that are not present in the Sat749 ...

How to Put a Macro on a Key
OK, this may be stupid,. but that is what we are here for, right?
I would like to put a macro on the Menu button of my UEI 9910 for use in Sat mode only. I have a Hughes E86, and to go to menu requires a press of Action followed by Guide. I understand how to do this macro, and have it working on an ...
