TiceRex,

Thanks for the answer. I was afraid of that, and many remotes are promoted as backlit but only on a button push. This, to me, is pointless. If I am sitting in a darkened room, I want the remote to illuminate when I pick it up.

Anyway, thanks again for the quick response.

Is there any chance that the 2x3 Test Points are essentially a JP1 connector accessed with pogo pins?

Sorry to dredge this up, but does anyone know if the backlight on the Streamer is motion activated or only comes on with a button push? Thanks!

I think it is only a matter of time before OneForAll makes a remote with bluetooth though - hopefully sooner rather than later (since I have been ...

Can't find 'em

Sorry all, I tried to find these pics, and tried to find the old remote, but I can't. I found what I was pretty sure was the hard drive that I used to have them on, an old IDE drive. When I finally got it hooked up to something that can interface with IDE, I discovered that I had formatted it at ...

Thanks for the reply. In some ways I was hoping it was hardware, and some ways not. It doesn't look quite as simple to disassemble as the old clamshell types. I should be able to get to this soon. I will also post my findings once I find something.

URC-7962 no response, no lights, uploads and downloads

Oh boy, do I need some help here, folks. I have posted my latest download here http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=12555. I got a new 7962 about a week ago, getting back into jp1 after being in the harmony world for a while. I was trying to get this new remote to work for ...

NIB 15-1995

While cleaning out my garage I found a new in box 15-1995. I would like to get $15 plus shipping for it if anyone is interested. PM me or reply to this thread. If nobody is interested in a few days, I will try ebay. Thanks.

Rob,
Got it now, thanks.
No, I am home, but for some reason that just wouldn't come up. I am using Firefox, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
This will be very useful to me, as I am trying to program a jp1 EEPROM but I took Windblows off my old old laptop with a parallel port and I'm ...

Rob,
when you get a chance, could you see if the pins inside are the (so far) standard .100" spacing? And maybe you could get a good approximation of the small opening through which you access the pins?
Thanks.

Well now. Yes, indeedy.

Now that I have a house and I'm out of the apartment, and now that OFA has come out with this remote, I have a feeling I may be visiting these forums an awful lot more.

When OFA stopped making the 6131 (old style - which if backlit would have been the best remote for me for ...

This is definitely my board, and I would say most likely my components, but that doesn't look like my soldering.
If Vicky bought it from me, it must be your soldering because I never bought kits from you, just completed cables. Did you ever have anyone else put the cables together for you?

Vicky, if I remember correctly, you purchased a kit from me for a discounted price, and either you or someone else assembled it.
I'm pretty sure that I still have the components to build ...

One problem is that the Harmony must be charged as often as a cell phone.
I'm not sure which model he got, but I use the backlight all the time (comes on with every button push) and I use rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries, and I don't have to recharge them more than once every month and a half or ...

I have made and sent many to the UK. I charge only the Priority Mail International rate for shipping of $11.95 US.
If you are interested, you can email me at sales@interfaceplace.com or just post back here with what type of cable you are looking for.
