eextender not working after battery change 15-1994

It has been about 2 years, i think, since I have been here, and have really enjoyed the way i have my 15-1994 set up, but this week, the batteries needed changing, and now i can't get the extender to work, or my macros. I had left a note in the battery compartment to use something like p p-rec after ...

My fault. I just realized you said protocol Panasonic, device 144, sub 5 obc 43 Hex 2B EFC 091. VCR/0162 is device 144, sub 0 IIRC.

Mark...if you have time, could you please help me with this...how do I create the keymove for this?...Or does it need to be accomplished via a one command ...

You could try adding it to the device with a keymove if the same device is on the AUX and see if that cures the problem.

Nils, I am not sure what you mean by "if the same device is on the AUX..."

The learned function is a VCR function, "tape position", and has the following data from the learned ...

I'm not clear on what you mean by this. The proper way to update the RDF is to rename or delete the old RDF and add the new RDF. Then open IR and download from the remote.

We did exactly that..moved the old RDF to the desktop, we found the new RDF at the yahoo site, "saved target as" to the same ...

Invalid session

Rob...I frequently get "Invalid session" message when trying to reply to, or edit a post. I am logged in at the time. I am using WINXP home version and AOL is the ISP (I know....could be AOL).

We have downloaded the new "Scientific-Atlanta ER1 RDF" from the Yahoo files area, and opened IR with that rdf....when we go to create a macro , the A, B and C buttons are available to put macos on, but when we upload it to the remote, we get the error msg that the signatures are different, and the ...

Curious situation: I have macros on my device keys (thanks for all the help, guys!) Everything works to my liking...except, when watching a Video tape, in VCR mode, and I change the volume, the VCR pip button (learned function "tape position") will not work. It will work if I have not used vol ...

jon..thanks. I DO have all my macros with the device at the end, as you do. Once in a while, I need to use a rarely used function on a different device, while in the macro ending device mode.

I just created 3 one button shifted macros..

shift/TV=TV
shift/VCR=VCR
shift/AUX1=AUX1

Voila...

Thanks ...
