Ah ha! I think I got it. I changed the remote eye I was using going from myRF unit to the Revue to one I bought a long time ago at Best Buy and it seems to work fine now. I dunno why the revue doesn't like the other remote eye, but I don't care at this point. It works! :D

Thanx Rob. These do work, but unfortunately, they works just as erratically as learning them.

It's definitely something with the way the MX-810 delivers the signal. It sometimes pick up the signal, sometimes it doesn't even with the remote eyeball taped to the sensor. Even using the IR from the ...

Thanx for the codes!

I dunno what the issue is tho but they don't seem to work. I've cut and pasted them in, dragged them to the buttons and they seem to get loaded fine but nothing happens when I press a button.

I tried changing the repeat too, to see, but it didn't do anything.

Frustrating. I ...

Hi all,
Is it possible for someone to take these codes an convert them into Pronto Hex codes? I am trying to get these codes into my URC MX-810. I tried to do it myself, but could not figure out Makehex due to this fact that this is a custom protocol, with no predefined file to use with Makehex ...

KM, 8910 remote and Comm Skip button...

When using Keymap Master 8.44(previous versions the same), when assigning functions to a button, the Comm Skip button is greyed out when 9910/8910/HTPro remote is selected.

I know this button isn't programmable unless you use an extender, but I am using an extender, so I'd like to assign a function ...

Ok guys, I fixed it. I took a step back and used an old version, I had from days earlier that just included my DVD player and Receiver. I then rebuilt from there and everything seems to be working. Don't know what really went wrong but it's working now.

Now to just finish a few extra keys and I'm ...

Of course, this is a perfect example of why it's a good idea to load your KM files into the file section. Plus, you'll be sharing them with others too.

I actually did for my HTL-HD Directv receiver, which I now no longer use(I'm Omniprezent from the old board). For some reason I never did do the ...

In a situation like this, I suggest uploading your KM and IR files to the Diagnosis Area so one of the experts can look at them to see exactly what you've done.

To save some frustraction, is there any way to possibly pull the 0250 custom code setup I have on my RS2117, from IR.exe, back into ...

Getting a bit frustrated...

I'm in the process of switching over remotes from an RS 2117 to a URC 8910. Due to a harddrive crash, about a year ago, I no longer have the keymap master files for what I have programmed into my RS 2117. I have duplicated all functions, by rebuilding them with keymap master and using some files ...

Pulling an older thread up...

Just a note, I just installed a new R10 last night and tried using my RS 15-2117 that was programmed for an older series 1 Directivo. Everything works fine except the guide button. "Most" of the time, it works just fine, however, every once and a while the new R10 gets ...

I gotta say the 15-1994 IMO had the best combination of button and layout of anything, to date. The 2116/7 would compete IF they had the extra learning buttons. The layout was the best because it had the TV functions all together in a tight little area. The channel up/down and volume right in the ...

FYI, Philips released new firmware for the DVDR75(and most other models), which, for the DVDR75, finally adds the 8x FF/RW, to go with the 4x and 32x, already present.

Sorry, not directly remote related, but this firmware release is useful.

Oh and thanx for fixing the link.

I had the same issues for a while, myself with my 2117, to the point where I would be lucky to get it to communicate 1 outta 10 times. By accident I knocked the parallel connection to my extention cable, off the top of my computer(where the JP1 cable connects to the Parallel extension cable I use ...

I used this on from the TV section 53WX52 for my CT-34WX53. The file has codes for Component 1 and 2. The 2 codes that don't work for me are the ones for "Just" and "4:3".

Just a note, a couple of us had problems(ie. it didn't work) with the Pause protocol that was built into Extender 2 of the 2117. We added in the generic pause protocol found in the files section. That pause protocol worked great for us.

Since these remotes are similar, you may have better success ...
